Wow I have not been on here in a while - I have been really busy (actually it is because I forgot my password) but I have also been really busy. Mike and I are leaving for North Carolina tomorrow so I have been trying not to buy groceries because they would all go bad anyways. So I just ate 3 popsicles for dinner, and another popsicle for dessert. Blegh - I miss real food. Working at Cruiser's really is exhausting. It is not just the time but the heat. All the seating is outside so I am either running around cleaning tables outside or standing in the baking kitchen. Tomorrow I am on snow-cone duty so I do not even get the luxury of indoor temperatures. Oh well - one more day and I will be in the mountains. I am excited to see some nature and breathe some air that is not condensed with salt and tourism. Miss the venice fam like crazy - I will try to make it home soon.

p.s. did you know that 99 degrees causes plastic lawn chair legs to melt to the front porch? Me neither - but I do now.
